Ambleside House, Ambleside

This new dwelling which replaced an existing property, designed by Ben Cunliffe Architects was completed in 2018.

It was constructed using a steel frame at ground floor level creating an open plan feel with large expanses of glazing allowing the spectacular views of the Lake District to take centre stage. It includes a glazed section of flooring and a beautiful floating staircase with the support structure subtly hidden away.
