Furness Wind Farm Enabling Works

We were employed to undertake design, obtain necessary highway approvals, undertake tendering and contract administration for the proposed highway enabling works for Furness Wind Farm. This involved the widening and alterations of 8 areas and included liaison and approvals from both Highways England and Cumbria Highways. The works involved included drainage and highways works, slope stabilisation using soil nails and retaining walls. The large components were safely delivered to site and are now operational.
